Upward Flag Football & Cheerleading
From kids sports leagues to youth sports camps to competitive travel teams, we teach athletes how to Play With Purpose through our 360 Progression.

Upward Flag Football Grade 1^st - 8^th  and Cheerleading Grades 1^st - 4^th 
Family friendly program that offers 1 practice a week and one game. 

Cost:
Football $140 early registration by June 21, $155 after June 21
Cheer $135 early registration by June 21, $150 after June 21

Key Dates:
Registration opens May 1 - July 24 (Don't delay league has reached capacity the past 8 years)
1^st Practice week of August 21 assigned date Monday - Thursday 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm or 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
1^st Game Sept 9 games will be every Saturday 8 am - 3 pm time frame.

2023 Upward Baseball League

We are entering our 6^th year of Upward Baseball at Brookfield Lutheran.  We are excited to host another fun season of baseball, friendships, and sharing the love of Jesus with kids and families.  We use a fast-paced practice and game format to help kids learn and enjoy playing baseball at any skill level.  If you love Upward for Flag Football, Cheerleading, Basketball, or Soccer, you’ll love Upward Baseball!!

The league is open to boys and girls currently in grade K5* – 4^th.  (*See below for details on K5 participants).

Grade Divisions:  K5, 1^st-2^nd, 3^rd-4^th

Cost is $99 through January 15, 2023.  $120 between January 16 and April 12 (or until we are at capacity).  Players will receive a jersey and a new personal helmet.  Bats, balls, pitching machines, batting cages, tees, and teaching gear will be provided.

Capacity is 110 kids!  Register right away as we have filled the program the last 2 years.

Practices will be held at two different times on Wednesday nights – with younger kids practicing earlier.  Coaching help is needed for head coaches, assistants, and station coaches.  If you are interested in helping in another way, please email ccantwell@goblc.org. 

Evaluation Day:  April 12^th, 4:00-7:00pm (1-hour time slots)

Practices:  Wednesdays, 5:15-6:30pm or 6:45-8:00pm – 4/26, 5/3, 5/10

Practice/Games:  Wednesdays, (same times) – 5/17, 5/24, 5/31, 6/7

Games:  Saturdays, 9:00-10:15am or 10:30-11:45am – 5/20, 6/3, 6/10

*K5 Parents note:  1 parent is requested to stay with their child each session.  This will help you learn and in turn help teach and guide your child.  This will enhance your child’s learning and your relationship.
