Family Priorities: Faith Development

Sunday, 25 July 20109

Faith is necessary for Life in Jesus. We must make faith development a priority in our families. Our children are to be taught the Word in our conversations, in our modeling, and through repetition and reviewing.

Family Priorities: Time

Sunday, 18 July 201013

It is easy to get so busy and fill up our lives with so many activities, running here and there, etc. We need to determine what is important in our busy lives and how we spend our time and look at what God's will is for our life. When things get hectic, often our time with God is the relationship that suffers. We need to make Jesus the number 1 priority in our life, so don't want to miss out on the gifts that Jesus gives us - of purpose, wisdom, hope and everlasting life.

Family Priorities: Forgiveness

Sunday, 11 July 201017

We all have things that get on our nerves in families from the small issues to the great big things, and it is important to learn and practice forgiveness. An unforgiving spirit is a divider among families and tears us apart. Whereas, a forgiving spirit realizes that the past is the past and we can't change it and what happened, but we can deal with it and say "I forgive you" and move on.

Jesus is Lord!

Sunday, 04 July 201015

Jesus is Lord of our hearts and our minds. We need to proclaim that He is Lord and not keep it to ourselves. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. It doesn't matter who you are or what you've done. "Jesus is Lord!" gives us hope and defines who we are. It is good news and we need to hear it everyday!

Faith Walk

Sunday, 27 June 201011

How do you wake up in the morning from a spiritual perspective? Are you excited and joyful for a new day or filled with dread and anxiety about what the day will bring? However we wake up, we need to be able to walk in faith and need to be encouraged and built up by God to make it through the day. We have to believe that God is in control of this entire world and turn to Him who changes everything for us.
