Monthly Mission Support
Each month we support a local mission effort with our prayers, direct involvement and special mission envelope offerings. The second Sunday services of each month are set aside to present the mission, its goals, programs and success stories to our congregation.
Place of Refuge
January
Place of Refuge provides Christ-centered advocacy services, housing and support to young women facing a crisis pregnancy.

Lutheran Heritage Foundation
February
The Lutheran Heritage Foundation has served as a mission organization by translating Lutheran literature that is Bible based, Christ centered and Reformation driven. LHF has translated over 450 books into nearly 90 languages, distributed to more than 70 nations.

International Student Ministries
March
ISM is a Christian-based organization with a desire to offer those “at our doorstep” friendship, hospitality and the Gospel message and that they will share the message of God’s love with their families and associates. 80+ campuses have intentional ministries among international students.

The Gideons
April
The Gideons are laymen from various evangelical denominations, Christian business and professional men and participating wives, with a vital testimony for the Lord. Through their efforts, God’s Word is distributed in 190 countries and over 80 languages around the world in hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, prisons, and also to fire, police and military personnel.

S.O.S. Center
May
Their mission is to provide educational support to children and adults in Milwaukee’s inner city with a Christian perspective. Programs include After School tutoring, Sewing Classes, GED Preparation, ESL, Youth Summer Camp, etc.

Lutheran Blind Mission
June
The Lutheran Blind Mission prepares and distributes materials for the blind and visually impaired, so they may read and share the light of salvation. They are seeking to establish outreach centers based in churches.

The Lutheran Home provides compassionate Christian care in a skilled nursing facility in Wauwatosa, along with support services to meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of elderly people and their families.

Lutheran Urban Mission Initiative (LUMIN)/ Concordia University School
August
Concordia University School is committed to the spiritual, intellectual and emotional development of the underprivileged children in the neighborhood, helping them prepare for future learning and service empowered by their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. LUMIN also operates three other urban schools in the area.

Lutheran Indian Ministries (LIM) - (LAMP-U.S.)
September
Lutheran Indian Ministries is an independent organization assisting the Christian Church to spread God’s saving grace primarily among First Nations, American Indian and Native Alaskan people, particularly in remote areas.
Focus is on recruiting and developing Native Christian leaders for ministry.

Milwaukee Rescue Mission

The Milwaukee Rescue Mission serves the homeless population of Milwaukee’s inner city and those in need of food, clothing and shelter, and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with all who enter their doors.

The Voice of the Martyrs is an interdenominational organization with a vision for aiding Christians around the world who are being persecuted for their faith in Christ.

Lutheran Special School & Education Services, in a Christ-centered environment, serves children with special learning difficulties, their schools, teachers and families.
