Do you ever yearn for something more in life? I love vacations when I get to try something new and different. In August I had an opportunity to kayak on a lake here in Wisconsin. My husband, Mark, had serious doubts I would be able to get 5 feet into the lake without turning over in the kayak. I yearned though to give it a try. Mark was quite surprised when I paddled right up to him in the middle of the lake while he was fishing out of a different boat!
Do you yearn for the vastness and endless relationship in Jesus? You know we grow in faith and relationship with Jesus the more time we spend with Him and in His Word. Yet many times things get in our way to keep us from time with Jesus. Milfred Minatrea says when we yearn for Jesus we want to live as He lives, love what He loves and pursue that which is on His heart. 1 Cor. 15:49 “And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven”.
Lord, we are created to reveal the image of You! Let us know more of Your heart so we can more intentionally reflect You each day of our lives! Amen.
