Connecting People to Life in Jesus

At Brookfield Lutheran Church, our mission is Connecting People to Life In Jesus.

To accomplish this mission, we regularly focus our attention and emphasis as a Christian community by developing and sharing a vision that strives toward the common goal. This year our mission focus is on the theme "Growing Together," referring to the illustration we have from Paul in Ephesians 4. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

We will in all things grow up together into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. It is through Him that the whole body grows.

Growing Together

Brookfield Lutheran Church is Christ-centered, growing, vibrant and relationally-focused. We equip and support maturing Christians so we can grow the body of Christ wherever we go. Our Growing Together is focused on five ministry and mission priorities:

• Spiritual Growth - Searching the Word of God; it is here we find Jesus our Savior
• Equipping - Building relationships and training leaders to continue the mission of the Church
• Outreach - Taking opportunities to take the message of Jesus Christ to our communities and throughout the world
• Fellowship - Focusing on the importance of community and encouraging growth in our relationships
• Communication - Prioritizing communication in everything we do to raise awareness of opportunities within our community
