God's Plans, Our Future

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

With our growth in numbers and ministries, the church’s leaders have always kept a watchful eye on our growth needs. Twelve years ago, God inspired us to map out a master building/campus plan, matching our growth and facilities needs, and we continue to follow the Master’s plan even today.

With God’s grace we have been able to implement an educational center to teach the Word and grow God’s people at BLC, and a Worship and Family Life Center - a multi-purpose facility, used for fellowship, recreation, worship and meal serving events. In 2004, additional planning reaffirmed our commitment to both program and location, and we pursued land acquisition to facilitate additional facility growth.

Our goal of building a 30,000 sq. ft. sanctuary, large enough to accommodate 800-1000 people, is the next phase of our “God at Work” Capital Campaign. To that end, our mission at BLC:

1. Will require additional property improvements (e.g. parking lot repairs, roof work on existing structures).
2. Will require the elimination of debt from our operating budget.
3. Calls us to add a tithe to anything we do.
4. Allows us the ability to allocate seed money for the new, stand-alone sanctuary.
